Concrete Structures utilizes the
“Critical Path” method of scheduling,
where the most important tasks in a project are identified
and expedited. This method results in the shortest
possible duration for concrete work, saving money
and accelerating the overall completion of the client’s
project.
Project plans are carefully analyzed,
and together with historical data, a preliminary schedule
is generated. Through collaboration with field professionals,
estimators, and engineers, all activities are taken
into consideration.
Throughout the term of the project,
regular updates are generated and distributed electronically.
At each update, the progress of the critical path
is checked for delays. Management and field personnel
are informed of such delays to allow for corrective
action. Electronic archives are maintained for all
projects as historical data.
Concrete Structures uses “Primavera Project
Planner,” (P3) and “Microsoft Project
Professional” for schedule generation, assuring
compatibility with various construction software packages,
such as “Expedition” and “Ice 2000.”
